Vienna National (4) defeated Virginia Beach (8) 9-8 in its opening game,
then defeated York County (7) 14-3. Vienna (4) lost to Chantilly (10)
14-4 in the last game of pool play, finishing pool play in second place.
In the first round of championship play Vienna (4) defeated Louisa (14)
11-7, but in the second game lost to Dulles (10), 13-12 and was thereby
eliminated.

Vienna National (4) defeated Caroline County (15) 4-2 and then won over
Virginia Beach (8) 9-0 before beating McIntire (14) 5-2 in this double
elimination tournament. Vienna National (4) lost to SYA East (10) 13-4
and so moved into the losers' bracket. After defeating McIntire again,
this time by a score of 10-0, Vienna National (4) lost to SYA East (10) in
the championship game by a score of 12-2.

9-1 to finish pool play in second place. In the championship round
Alexandria (4) lost to Mechanicsville (5) 9-2 to be eliminated from the
tournament.

McLean (4) defeated Green Run (8) 10-5 in its first game. Then it
defeated Honaker (11) 15-0, before winning over Tuckahoe (5), 11-2. In
one of the semi-final games, McLean (4) defeated Essex (15) 13-3, but in the
championship game McLean (4) lost to Grayson County (3), 7-1.

McLean (4) defeated Warwick (7), 5-2 in its first game and then defeated
Bridgewater (3), 5-0. In its third game McLean (4) lost to Honaker (11),
1-0, for its first loss in the double elimination format. Bridgewater
(3) then defeated McLean (4) in a semi-final game with a score of 6-3, thus
eliminating McLean (4) from the State Tournament.
