Saturday Vienna National (4) defeated West Springfield National (9) 12-11. On Sunday Vienna
National (4) lost to Louisa (14) 3-0. Then Monday Vienna National (4) lost to Tuckahoe National
(5) by a score of 12-8. Vienna National (4) did not advance from Pool play. The championship went to
Bridgewater (3), who defeated Louisa (14) 17-6.

Vienna American (4) defeated Bristol (1) 25-0 in the opening round, then
won over Fleet Park (8) 11-1 on Saturday. By winning Pool D Vienna
American (4) moved to the championship round and defeated McIntire (14) 16-0 Monday
night in a single elimination quarter-final game. In the semi-final, Vienna
American (4) lost to Chantilly (10) 14-4. Chantilly (10) defeated Huguenot (5) 13-2
for the championship.

In Pool A McLean American (4) defeated Warwick (7) 3-1 on Friday and then
lost to West Springfield National (9) 8-3 on Saturday. Sunday McLean
American (4) defeated Norton (13) 20-1 in the final game of pool play.
McLean American (4) ended pool play with a record of 2-1 and is the
runner-up. McLean American (4) lost to Central Chesterfield (5) in the
single-elimination quarter-final round by the score of 9-5. Chantilly
American (10) defeated McIntire (14) for the championship, thereby advancing
to the Southeast Regional Tournament.

Alexandria (4) lost to Warwick (7) 15-0 in the opening game, then
defeated Fairfax (10) 13-3 on Saturday. In the final pool play
game, Alexandria (4) defeated Tuckahoe (5), 3-2. In the
championship round, Alexandria (4) dropped Grottoes (3), 6-4, but then
lost in the semi-final game to Warwick (7), 13-1. Warwick (7)
defeated Danville (2) for the championship.

VA4 Representative: McLean
Tournament Web Site
McLean (4) defeated Coeburn (13) 11-0 on Friday and then beat Loudoun (16)
23-0 on Sunday, thereby winning their pool. McLean defeated Western
Branch (6) 13-0 in the quarter-final round of the championship single-elimination
series on Monday and moved into the championship game by winning their semi-final
over Elkton (3) by a score of 12-0. In the championship game, McLean (4) defeated
Washington County (1) with a score of 6-0.McLean moved ahead to the Little League
Southern Region tournament, held this year at Ceredo-Kenova in West
Virginia during 30 July - 3 August. McLean's opening game with West
Virginia was postponed until Sunday. On Friday, Tennessee defeated
McLean 4-3. On Saturday, McLean defeated South Carolina, 9-0 and
Sunday defeated West Virginia 2-1, thereby claiming the runner-up position
from Pool B. McLean lost to Georgia in the semi-final, and Georgia
defeated Florida to win the regional tournament.
