Also on Sunday, McLean (4) defeated Clifton Forge (12) 16-0.
McLean (4) defeated Clifton Forge (12) in the title game to win the Virginia State Seniors Softball Tournament.

McLean (4) won the Virginia State Seniors Softball Championship and advanced to the South Region tournament.

In the Southern Regional Tournament McLean (4) went 2-1 in pool play with victories over Florida 7-4 and North Carolina 8-1 and a loss to West Virginia 1-0.  McLean (4) was matched against Georgia, the winner of Pool B and defeated Georgia in the semi-final with a score of 6-3.  In the regional championship game, McLean(4) was defeated by Tennessee by the score of 4-1.
