Did you know that Arlington Little League has the lowest fees of any Little League organization in our District? Your child can play in Spring 2012 for as little as $60 (register by December 15, 2011), while neighboring Little Leagues charge $100 and more. How do we keep our fees—YOUR fees—so low? The ALL Board of Directors works hard in the off-season to recruit sponsors. Now you can help! Any ALL family that successfully recruits a new sponsor will receive up to $50 in gift cards, compliments of the Board of Directors. Talk to the manager of your favorite restaurant or other local business, mention ALL sponsorship to your accountant or realtor, suggest it to a friend or relative who is looking to make a donation to a worthy cause that helps children in their community! Rules and Restrictions
- “New” sponsors for 2012 are defined as any company or organization that did not sponsor Arlington Little League in the preceding year (our annual sponsor season runs from November 1 to June 30). See the list of our 2011 sponsors.
- “ALL family” is defined as (i) the adult parent(s), relative(s), or guardian(s) of one or more children who have been registered with Arlington Little League, or (ii) an ALL adult volunteer, such as a coach.
- Each ALL family is eligible to receive gift cards totaling 10% of the amount of sponsorship money actually contributed to Arlington Little League by a new sponsor they recruit, not to exceed $50 per family. Families may choose from among gift cards of selected ALL sponsors, including California Pizza Kitchen, Child’s Play Toys, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Lost Dog Café, and Rocklands Barbecue.
- To be eligible for consideration, the family must notify sponsorship@arlingtonlittleleague.org of the name of the company, organization, or individual it is attempting to recruit as a sponsor and shall have actually spoken with the individual or the person responsible for making funding decisions on behalf of the company or organization. In the event that more than one family attempts to recruit the same sponsor, gift cards will be given to the first family that provides notification to ALL as described in the preceding sentence.
- In order for the family to receive a gift card, the recruited sponsor must fill out the 2012 sponsorship application (or email the required information to sponsorship@arlingtonlittleleague.org) and provide sponsor funds to ALL by June 30, 2012. The family will receive the gift card(s) within two (2) weeks after they indicate to ALL which gift card(s) they select.
- Members of the 2012 ALL Board of Directors are not eligible to participate.
