League Age
League Age refers to the age of the player as of 30 April in a given year and this is the measure by Little League of the player's age.  For example, a player may actually be 11 years old as the season gets underway, if his or her birthday is April 27th, but the League considers the player is 12 years old.  The last year a player may play at the Majors level is League Age 12.

Difference Between Majors 1 and Majors 2
There are three elemental differences between the Majors 1 game and the Majors 2 game.  At Majors 2, everyone on the team bats in sequence.   Generally there are more than nine players available for a game and they all bat in sequence.  Also, at Majors 2 there is a six run maximum on the number of runs that can be scored in one inning.  If six runs are scored then the side is considered to be retired and offense and defense switch.  No 12 year-old players may pitch at Majors 2.  The higher skilled players play at Majors 1 and Majors 2 is a development level feeding into Majors 1.  There are 9-10-11-12 year-olds playing at both Majors 1 and Majors 2.

After Little League in Arlington
This youth baseball program in Arlington takes players through League Age 12.  At the ages immediately above this, the Little League and the Babe Ruth programs merge into a Senior Babe Ruth program.  In the Fall of the Babe Ruth program all players aged 13 - 15 are put together in a league and play on a 90-foot baseball diamond.  In the following spring, the 13 year-olds are placed in a league of their own and the 14-15 year-olds form a separate league.  At age 13 and above, teens are encouraged to participate in the Little League Teen Umpire Program.

Other Teams in District 4
Arlington plays in District 4, which is important at the end of the season when All-Star teams are competing along the Road to the World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.  Arlington produces two teams at the 11-12 year old level.  One is the American League (North) team and one is the National League (South) team.  Other leagues in District 4 are
Baseball Types and Safety
At the T-Ball and Rookie levels the Incrediball is used.  The ball is the same size and shape as a standard baseball, but is soft to squeeze.  At the  Minor level the RIF 4 ball is used.  RIF is Reduced Injury Factor.   This ball is firmly soft.  It is harder than the Incrediball, but not as hard as the balls used at both Majors levels.  The Majors ball is the standard 5 ounce and 9-inch circumference ball that meets National standards for League play.  The ball is hard and withstands the rigors of a game and subsequent practices throughout the year and beyond.
