All-Stars & District 4 Committee

The All-Stars & District 4 Committee will study the league’s structure and propose any changes to impact and improve participation and competition at District 4 tournaments. Specific tasks and questions for discussion will include:

  • Should ALL discuss collapsing from American and National divisions to one division, and therefore, one all-star team?  If so, how will the league petition Little League International for permission?
  • Recruit ALL volunteers to provide support and representation on District 4 staff.
  • Create a plan for leaguewide communication regarding All-Star opportunities, to include e-mails, letters, and in-person interest meetings.
  • Recruit, appoint, and involve coaches before the start of the regular season.
  • Enact and enforce true expectations and consequences, respectively, for participation in All-Star play.
  • Form local committees to address off-field needs in summer play, to include:
    1. Scouting
    2. Spirit (parent shirts, team picnics, bleacher decoration, etc.)
    3. Game workers for games at Barcroft

The committee is chaired by Vice President Chris Cooper and will include All-Star Commissioner Bart Gray, Transition Coordinator Dave Anderson, Majors Commissioner Dave Rohrbach, and Tee Ball Commissioner Jeremy Rosen.
